Learning Support

Students  at Northam Senior High School learn in an inclusive and supportive environment with quality teachers who work to provide educational experiences that challenge and support students to progress and gain mastery in their learning journey.

Students who require additional learning support are monitored by our Learning Support Coordinator, Mrs Kirsty Sloan. The Learning Support Coordinator works collaboratively with leaders, teachers and allied professional staff to ensure that students are supported in their learning through a tiered model of service delivery.

Through neurodiversity-affirming support that fosters academic growth, social-emotional development, and holistic well-being, our Learning Support Coordinator identifies student barriers to learning and engagement and supports students to achieve positive outcomes throughout their school journey.
